Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the questions patients and families ask most often about our program, the process, and what to expect.

About NK Cell Immunotherapy

NK cell immunotherapy involves using natural killer cells — a type of immune cell — as part of a structured cancer treatment program. In our autologous approach, NK cells are collected from the patient's own blood, expanded in our laboratory, and reintroduced as part of the treatment protocol.
NK cell immunotherapy is supported by a growing body of scientific research, but it is not currently an established standard-of-care treatment for most solid tumors. We offer it as an additional, physician-evaluated option — not a replacement for conventional treatment.
Our programs focus on solid tumors, including cancers of the breast, lung, colon, liver, and pancreas, among others. Eligibility is determined case-by-case through physician review.
This depends on your individual case and the recommendation of your medical team. Many patients who inquire are either between treatment phases or seeking options alongside conventional care. We encourage discussion with your oncologist.

Eligibility and Medical Review

Eligibility can only be determined through our physician-led medical review. You submit your case information — diagnosis, imaging, treatment history, and current status — and our team evaluates it. We communicate the assessment outcome directly.
We typically require pathology reports, recent imaging (CT, MRI, or PET scan), a summary of prior treatments, and your current clinical status or bloodwork. Your coordinator will guide you on what to gather.
Initial case review is provided as part of our patient evaluation process. Cost information is provided after eligibility is confirmed.
If our team determines that your case does not meet eligibility criteria, we will communicate this clearly. We may suggest you continue working with your current medical team or explore other options.

Traveling for Treatment

Treatment is administered at our facility in Cancun, Mexico, in partnership with Amerimed Hospital — one of the most internationally accredited private hospitals in the region. We also have a border clinic location in Los Algodones, Baja California.
Our treatment protocol involves three visits over approximately six weeks. Patients may choose to stay for the full six weeks or make separate trips. Our coordination team will help you plan the logistics based on your schedule and preferences.
Yes. We encourage patients to bring a family member or caregiver. Our coordination team can assist with logistics for accompanying travelers, including accommodations and scheduling.
We provide a full preparation checklist after your case is accepted. In general, you will need your medical records, any current medications, a valid passport, and personal items for your stay. Our concierge team will guide you through everything.

Cost and Process

Programs generally start at $50,000 USD. The exact cost depends on your specific case, protocol requirements, and duration. A detailed, all-inclusive quote is provided only after your medical records have been reviewed and eligibility confirmed.
We do not bill insurance directly. However, we provide documentation and coding that may support patients seeking out-of-network reimbursement. We recommend consulting with your insurance provider before proceeding.
After completing the treatment protocol, our team coordinates follow-up with your oncology care team. We remain available for questions and provide documentation of your treatment for your home physicians.
